Jairus’s Daughter…

JESUS had returned from Gergesa, to the western shore, teaching the multitudes again. Healing many whom were afflicted from ailments, diseases and emotional sickness. He stayed at the seashore for quite a time, then retired to the house of Levi-Matthew to meet the publicans at the feast. Here Jauirus, the ruler of the synagogue, found Him.

The elder of the Jews came to JESUS in great distress, and cast his body at JESUS’s feet. In anguish he spoke, “My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray Thee, come and lay Thy Hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.” JESUS set out at once with the ruler for his home. Though the disciples had seen so many of His Works Of Mercy, they were surprised at the attentive response to the ruler’s demand. Yet they followed The Master and the people from Levi-Matthew’s home accompanied them in eager expectancey.

The ruler’s home was not a far distance, but JESUS and His Disciples advanced slowly, for the crowd pressed Him on every side. The anxious father was impatient in delay; but JESUS, pitying the people stopped now and then to relieve some of the suffering and to comfort others. While they were still on their way, a messenger pressed through the crowd, bearing to Jairus the news that his daughter was now dead, and that it was useless to trouble The Master further. Those words caught the ear of JESUS. “Fear not,” HE said; “believe only, and she shall be made whole.”

Jairus pressed closer to The Saviour, and together they hurried to his house. Already the hired mourners and flute players were there, filling the air with their clamor. The presence of the crowd and the tumult jarred upon the Spirit Of JESUS. HE tried to silence them, saying, “Why make this ado(this formality of mourning) and weeping?” the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth(sleeps).” They were indignant(angrily upset) at The Words Of The Saviour. They had seen the child in the embrace of death, and they laughed Him to scorn. Requiring them to leave Jairus’s Home, JESUS took with Him; the father, the mother, and three of His Disciples: Peter, James and John and together they entered the room where the girl was laid.

JESUS approached the bedside, and taking the child’s hand in His Own, He pronounced softely, in the familiar language of her home, the words, “Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.” Instantly a tremor passed through her unconscious form. The pulses of life beating again.. The lips unclosed with a smle. Her eyes opened widely as from awakening from sleep, and this young maiden gazed with wonder on the group beside her bed. She arose and her mom and Jairus clasped their daughter in their arms. They wept for joy.

This Miraculous healing from Jairus’s daughter’s death to her living again. It was spread beyond the foremost rural regions. The Powerful Touch and Word Of JESUS; was this major evidence beyond understanding. The Pharesees; the Jewish leaders and elders. The multitudes were greatly and quickly informed. The news spread like a wildfire. JESUS True Ability and His Position was now; seen and heard from many. HE Is: The Son Of GOD…Sent and received from The Throne Of Heaven. The given-time-frame of Christ’s ability to continue; was diminishing, as it was planned and purposed. HIS Father’s Will was being seen and realized by the cohorts of the enemy; with their authorative ruling threatened, they were demeaning an attack, to stop The Christ…                              Matthew 9:18,19,23-25; Mark 5:22-24,34-43; Luke 8:41,42,49-56.

In this miraculous healing from The Saviours Hand and Powerful Words; it was the first of His giving life from death. As He spoke, death is a form of sleeping. Spiritually Christ gives LIFE. Death is the meaning of Spiritual Eternal Death. Death is the lost of the soul to satan. LIFE is the granted grace of Salvation/Redemption through Christ JESUS as His Gift Of LIFE Everlasting. When one’s heart ceases; they, then, have fallen asleep, till Christ’s Return. It is a difficult one to accept, with most teachings, about death. But, when one dies, they do not pass unto another place. The deceased are not watching over us or in the heavenly realm. Only a select few have been taken into heaven. This is a worthwhile study to find this truth, to be a true reality.

       Touch HIS Garment…

When JESUS was surrounded by the crowd; walking to Jairus home, to deliver his daughter from death. There were people, with various ailments, who were requesting JESUS’s healing touch. Everyplace JESUS seemed to travel to; were a multitude seeking to hear and see His Miracles or to be relieved from their condition. As JESUS slowly passed among the people a persistent follower was trying to reach Him. HE came to Jairus home and went inside. The crowd anxiously, awaited outside, to see how this miracle transpired. Then, the door opened with three of HIS Disciples exiting, and then JESUS came out, standing outside of the doorway. It was silence. The people looked to read an expression or catch a word of what resolved, with Jairus daughter. They first heard of the deliverance from one of the previous mourners; “She’s Alive!” “Jairus daughter is alive, not dead!” Then the crowd started pushing closer to HIM, and so many were calling out to The Saviour, almost in a frantic mode. There was one, who tried to break through the crowed street; before reaching Jairus’s home.  A poor woman who for twelve years had suffered from a disease, that burdened her living all those years. She had spent all her means on physicians and remedies, only to be pronounced by them as incurable. But, when she heard of JESUS and knew of His visit there, she came into the crowd’s following. Her hope was revived hearing that JESUS healed and cured many people. She felt that she would be healed if she would be touched by Him. In suffering and in weakness, she traveled to see Him. She keep trying to reach Him through the tight knit group. With no avail, she desperately kept pushing, to make a way, towards her delivery. She was tiring. But, suddenly His Route had change; permitting her within His Boundary. The golden opportunity had come. After all the years of suffering. This Great Physician was in her path to living. Amid the confusion of the crowd’s disorder; she could not vocalize the words to reach Him, nor get right beside Him.

Fearing of this total lost. She unshakenly pressed forward, believingly thought, “If I may touch His Garment, I shall be whole.” As JESUS was now passing by, she reached forward, as far as she could extend her body. Her reaching was in sheer determination to touch a part of Him. She reached with all her ability and suceeded in brushing the border of His Garment with her finger tips. But in that very moment; she knew she was healed. In that one touch was total concentration of her faith. Instantly her pain and her issue of bleeding gave place; to a new vigor and perfect heal. She was whole and delivered.

With a grateful heart she tried to withdraw from the crowd; but suddenly JESUS stopped. The crowd ceased also. HE turned asking in a loud directive voice,”Who touched Me?” The crowd looked around in a questioning uncertainty. Peter ready to answer, said, “Master, the multitude throng Thee and press Thee, and Thou sayest Thou, Who touched Me?” JESUS answered, “Somebody hath touched Me; for I perceive The Virtue (Power Of The Father GOD’s Spirit) gone out of Me.” The Saviour could distinguish the touch of Faith, from the casual contact of the crowd. Such trust should not be passed without commenting upon. HE would speak to this woman of Faith. Her humbleness was acknowledged in respect. Letting her realization be accepted fully. Her Faith has made her whole and delivered to a Newness In Life. This comfort given was a well-spring of Joy received. This Miracle and JESUS’s Words of Recognition would be a blessing to HIS Followers to the close of time.  Matthew 9:18-26; Mark 5:21-43; Luke 8:40-56.

Looking towards this woman, JESUS insisted on knowing who had touched Him. Finding concealment vain, she herself came forward tremblingly, and cast herself at His Feet. With grateful tears she told the story of her suffering, and how she now had relief. JESUS, gently spoke, “Daughter, be of good comfort: thy (your) faith hath (has) made thee(you) whole; go in peace (of mind, body & spirit).” JESUS made no way for the perception or a superstition to claim, that by touching His Clothing, there was a power.   It was not the outward contact with Him, but, through Faith; The Divine Power would then be received. The cure would occur.

The wondering crowd that pressed close to Christ realized no accession of vital power. But, when the suffering woman put forth her hand to touch Him, believing that she would be made whole, she felt and received the healing virtue. So in spiritual living…to speak of religion or heavenly things in a casual manner, or to pray without a soul-filled  hunger or a committed living; avails nothing. A nominal faith in Christ, which is to accept Him merely as the savior of this world; can neither bring the much needed redemption or healing of one’s soul. The faith that is unto Salvation is not a mere intellectual acknowledgement of Him or to His Truth. The person/people who await for Everlasting Life; will be totally devastated in The Conclusion Of The Judgement Of Righteousness. GOD will not allow that deception In HIS WILL… It is not enough to believe about Christ: GOD’s Only Begotten SON. Even satan and his fallen angels know GOD, JESUS, and The Bible (word for word). ALL Will Know of The LORD GOD Almighty. That is, why each one of us, will be held accountable for by Our Decision Of: Whom We Serve.  Christ JESUS joins us, as airs of descendants. In receiving this sealed agreement(covenant). We need to wholeheartedly commit our living to Christ JESUS’s WAY. “I Am The WAY; The TRUTH; The LIFE; no one comes to The Father; except by ME.” John 14:6. By following The Saviour of this world; is The Only WAY to receive LIFEEverlasting LIFE…

I hope each person will realize this most major Life-existing Truth; before it becomes too late for them, in The Final Judgement. The LORD also, desired the woman to acknowledge this miraculous Blessing from Him. The gifts of The Gospel Blessings are to be proclaimed to others as evidence of The Saviour’s Love. The confession of His Goodness. “Ye are My Witnesses, saith The LORD, that I Am GOD.” Isaiah 43:12.
